Banco Nacional offers funding for Turrialba affected

May 12, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Producers affected by gas emission and ash fall from Turrialba volcano might receive loans from the emergency attention program through BN Pymes of Banco Nacional.

The institution has resources available for the beneficiaries of law 9274 of the Banking System for Development, consisting in prevention, rescue, recovery and economic revival of business and productive activities at risk due to market changes, climate conditions, illnesses or natural disasters.

To access these resources, the beneficiary must submit a request in the bank agencies in Turrialba or Cartago with a technical justification from Comisión Nacional de Emergencias.
