Beautiful photograph of the solar eclipse from Escazú

August 21, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Luis Solano-To the Wonder

The long-awaited day came and the solar eclipse left impressive images. One of them was captured by the outstanding photographer Luis Solano Pochet, creator of the site To The Wonder.

An ethereal and surreal scene of the 2017 eclipse seen from Escazú in San José, Costa Rica,”

said Solano in his publication.

In Costa Rica, the natural phenomenon was partial, since the Moon covered only 30% of the Sun. While in some US states it was a full solar eclipse.

The recommendation of the Costa Rican authorities was enjoying the phenomenon on television or the Internet, to avoid visual problems.
