November 2, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The National System of Conservation Areas (SINAC) together with the National Museum of Costa Rica, will present a book called “Non-flying Mammals of the Central Volcanic Mountain Conservation Area.”

The book is made up of 189 pages in Spanish, with hand-made illustrations by artist Lisa Sánchez.

This book is unique in its kind, since it is the result of a 10-year scientific research by ACC officials, in conjunction with the specialized officials of the National Museum of Costa Rica,”

said Gustavo Jiménez, Chief of the Marketing and Tourism Area of that Conservation Area.

If you wish to acquire this book you can do so in the nature stores of the Irazú Volcano National Park, Guayabo National Monument and possibly in the National Museum.
