CONAVI delivered unfinished bridge in Paracito

January 17, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The bridge that connects Paracito de Santo Domingo de Heredia with La Trinidad de Moravia was inaugurated despite being unfinished.

This was confirmed by the engineer in charge of the project, Silvia Gómez. The press questioned why the official pedestrian barrier is still not ready, even though the bridge was opened more than one month ago.

We told the company to make the correction, they must finish that detail (barrier) and other things. They are on time, it’s just that the inauguration was a protocol to deliver the bridge to the community, but the project is not ready. That’s what I can tell you for the moment,”

said Gómez.

The residents of Paracito are concerned about the safety of the children who pass through the area.

They have been struggling since 2004 to have a new bridge.
