Costa Rica businessmen will go to China

A group of Costa Rican businessmen, union members of the Chamber of Importers (CRECEX), will participate in the China-LAC Business Summit 2016 to be held in Canton province from October 14th to October 17th.

The event is jointly organized by the Chamber and the Foreign Trade Promoter (PROCOMER). The trade delegation will represent sectors of the national economy such as agribusiness, manufacturing, infrastructure, professional services, among others.

The information, collected by the Commercial Intelligence platform of Crecex, states that in 2015 Costa Rica exported 80.9 million dollars to China, while 1,803 million dollars were imported in items.

In 2013 the summit was held in Costa Rica.
