Costa Rica will host world meeting on crisis in Venezuela

Costa Rica will host the III Ministerial Meeting of the “International Contact Group” that brings together 12 countries and the European Union on the topic of Venezuela on May 6th and 7th.

On Monday, President Carlos Alvarado, and Federica Mogherini, Vice President of the European Commission will participate in the inauguration ceremony starting at 6:15 pm at the Casa Amarilla.

On Tuesday, after a working breakfast, the Plenary Meeting of the International Contact Group will be held at the headquarters of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), in San Isidro de Coronado.

The activity will involve representatives of the European Union, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Uruguay, Ecuador and Bolivia as well as Costa Rica.
