Court cancels concession for San Jose to Cañas route due to lack of technical studies

The first chamber of the Supreme Court, emphasizing the need for technical studies to accompany public transport concessions has canceled the highway contract for routes for San José-Santa Cruz and Santa Cruz-Flamingo. The court ordered the Consejo de Transporte Público to publish new tenders for the project within one year, and require these to include technical studies and environmental impact statements.
