Criminals steal insect collection valued at $ 100,000

The German Karl Heinz found a broken window and missing 27 boxes of butterflies and beetles with a high value. | ALFONSO QUESADA.


Authorities are looking for a insect collection, stolen from a private museum in Coto Brus, Puntarenas on the night of December 27th. The collection consists of 27 wooden boxes and represents the life work of a 16 year German expat.
