Diarrhea: a warning from your body

July 28, 2016 by Staff News Writer

diarrhea is not only uncomfortable, it can be a warning: you should change your health habits.

According to doctor Ana Teresa Abreu, a gastroenterologist from Sanofi pharmaceutical company, the main causes of diarrhea are a poor diet, lack of hydration and stress. According to the doctor, there is a direct communication between gut microbes and brain.

If you eat healthy foods, the brain assumes it has to use them as energy, but if you consume fat, the brain knows it has to accumulate it and that’s the reason why obesity and stomach disorders occur,

explained Abreu.

Probiotic products allow the body to feel healthy and bacteria that exist in the body function well. Hydration is very important in both before and after diarrhea because the body does not have enough fluid to function properly.

Every time you have a bowel movement, you lose fluids. Diarrhea causes you to lose even more fluids. In addition, your body loses salts and minerals such as sodium, chloride and potassium.

Furthermore, stress causes loss of appetite or it changes meal times. These can originate acute or chronic diarrhea.

In case of diarrhea, hydrate well and drink Enderogermina Plus, which is suitable for acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders.
