Drugs, drugs, and more drugs

Officials of the Public Force found a drug seller in Copey de Cinco Estrellas of Tibás. However, due to his imminent arrest, the criminal threw a package of drugs to the street. It was ready to be distributed.

The Public Force seized 162 doses of crack, 30 grams of cocaine and 192 grams of marijuana, as well as 336,550 colones, money that would be the result of the illicit business.

On Monday morning, Operative Special Forces of the Public Force confiscated four firearms, large quantity of drugs, more than two million colones and more than 100 bullets of different calibers. This event took place in Hatillo, central canton of San José. Authorities also seized drugs worth more than eight million colones.

So far this year, the Public Force has confiscated more than three billion colones in drugs, during several operations against drug gangs throughout the country.
