Forensics commit to deliver as many bodies as possible

July 25, 2017 by Staff News Writer

On Tuesday morning, Monserrat Solano, Ombudsman, visited the facilities of the Forensic Complex in San Joaquín de Flores to verify that the autopsies are being carried out and to talk with some families.

According to the official, the forensic officers made the commitment to deliver as many bodies as possible on Tuesday. However, she asked for a little more patience, as this process is not so fast.

A message to families: do not come here, they are going to call you. The autopsies are not so fast, they have already done some. Today they will try to do about nine or maybe more,”

said the official.

Solano also guaranteed that the autopsy and delivery service will not be suspended again and added that according to what they have been informed, judicial officials voluntarily ceased the strike, not by any kind of pressure exerted on them.
