March 14, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Agents of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) were transporting drugs that had been confiscated on Sunday, when they were interrupted by another vehicle. The convoy operation was conducted by the Tactical Response Special Task Force (SERT).

At one point, a private vehicle with four occupants broke the police convoy near La Sabana. The officers ask them to stop interfering with the operation, but the young men ignored the request.

Therefore, they were arrested and handed over to the Administrative Police and later to the Prosecutor’s Office.
