Fuels are cheaper since Tuesday!

November 29, 2016 by Staff News Writer

It couldn’t be faster. The Regulatory Authority for Public Services (ARESEP) reported on Monday about a reduction in the price of fuel, and on Tuesday, the changes are already being applied.

The change took place at midnight. A relief to start Christmas. Super gas is now worth 19 colones less, plus regular gas is worth 30 colones less and the liter of diesel dropped 41 colones.

Carolina Mora, ARESEP spokeswoman, confirmed the news.

Arrangements were made and La Gaceta issued a publication yesterday afternoon to implement the measure,”

added Mora.

The methodology for fixing the price of gasoline will be activated again, the second Friday of December. The next adjustment, upwards or downwards, could be applied at the end of the year.
