After Hurricane Otto hit the country, one of the most vulnerable populations are animals.

Therefore, the School of Veterinary Medicine and Hospital de Especies Menores y Silvestres of the National University organized a collaboration campaign for the donation of food and supplies for pets.

Similarly, the campaign aims to cooperate with farm animals and wild creatures. Reportedly, donations will be accepted until Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the esplanade of the Faculty of Social Sciences, in Omar Dengo Campus, in Heredia, and in Benjamín Núñez Campus, in Lagunilla de Heredia.

In addition, different groups such as Valientes Por Siempre organization, have joined this cause and are now receiving donations for animals in its headquarters in Curridabat.
