Hurricane Otto is news worldwide

International media is following the threat of Hurricane Otto on Costa Rica. Prestigious international media are covering this natural phenomenon went from a tropical storm to hurricane on Tuesday afternoon.

National authorities expect Otto’s impact in the area of Calero Island and Bluefields in Nicaragua on Thursday. With this background, the international press has reported the threat of the phenomenon on the Central American territory.

What do the international media say?

The Washington Post reported this afternoon that Otto will be the first hurricane to directly affect Costa Rica since 1851. It also states that the heavy rains will arrive in the country from next Thursday.

USA Today said that Hurricane Otto will hit Central America on “Thanksgiving”. In the same way they report the affectations that are registered in Panama where there are at least 4 victims.
