Marked bill found on official under investigation

February 16, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Authorities from the Public Transport Council (CTP) marked bills for an investigation. One of these bills was found on the clothes of an official who is being investigated for allegedly charging a user for a free legal procedure.

This was confirmed by the Press Office of the Public Ministry, which reported that the bills were part of the investigation that began after the complaint to the CTP.

The man, named Castillo Coto, appears as a suspect in a crime of concession. He is currently waiting for a hearing.

Mario Zárate, director of the CTP, explained that they filed the complaint after a user complained about a taxi permit concession given in exchange for money.
