Countries such as Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic rose preventive alert against this virus, due to the recent confirmation of a single case in Haiti. Though it is one, Rodrigo MarĂn, from the minister of Health, does not discard that it is already in other nations of America.

Symptoms of Mayaro fever virus are:

-Headache.
