Teen and adult caught fishing illegally in the Pacific

Officers from the National Coast Guard Service arrested a man and a teenager on Sunday for illegal fishing in the waters of the national Pacific.

According to official reports, the vessel named Captain Mauricio was located at Órganos beach, in Paquera.

Coast Guard confirmed that the boat was

conducting fishing activity in a forbidden area.”

In addition to trammels, they kept fishing products on board.

In total, 92.5 kilos of fish of different species were seized and 1,200 meters of nets.

Authorities arrested an adult named Torrentes and a teenager.

The case was referred to the corresponding Prosecutor’s Office.
