More than $150 thousand dollars found in Spaniard’s suitcase

of Capitals section and officers of the Air Surveillance Service, arrested a 42-year-old man of Spanish nationality on Monday morning.

According to the preliminary report, the agents were performing a visual check at the Juan Santamaría International Airport, when the subject apparently got nervous. Therefore, he was taken to a room, but when investigators checked the handbag they found a security bag with $155,700 which apparently had not been reported.

The subject was transfered with a report to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in order to determine his legal status.
