MSP saved roosters locked in bags inside a vehicle’s trunk

On Friday, officers of the Public Force rescued four roosters that a man carried in special bags with 29 spurs of tortoiseshell in Desamparados.

According to the press department of the Ministry of Public Security, they confiscated the roosters from a subject named Valverde Rivera, who was going to use them in cockfights.

Officers moved the birds to SENASA in Heredia.
