January 5, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Officials of the Ministry of Public Security and from the Operational Support Group (GAO) of the Public Force in La Cruz de Guanacaste, surprised a group of people hiding in a mountain on Tuesday.

There were six Nicaraguan men and two women, who have an irregular immigration status in the country.

For this reason, the police intercepted them and later left the case in the hands of the national immigration authorities, who deported them.

According to police reports, the officers were patrolling the Guanacaste Conservation Area and realized that several people were hidden among the vegetation of the Corrales Negros sector.
