Plane was carrying more than half a million dollars

Authorities found $514,860 on the wings and secret compartments of a plane captured in Guanacaste on June, 25th.

Officers of the security forces also confiscated a shipment of 180 kilograms of cocaine inside a vehicle that was intercepted near the aircraft. A Costa Rican man named López was captured in the vehicle and later arrested, while the other suspect escaped in a different vehicle.

As confirmed by the staff of the Air Surveillance, the aircraft can accommodate 5 passengers, measures 8.59 meters by 2.95 meters, with capacity of 90 gallons of fuel and 6 hours of flight range.
