Prosecutor Emilia Navas participated in raid of Otto Guevara’s house

November 30, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The Attorney General of the Republic, Emilia Navas, arrived at the house of Legislator Otto Guevara to carry out the judicial proceedings and confiscation of documents, which may serve as evidence for the cementazo investigation.

The authorities quickly entered the condominium where the legislator lives in Escazú.

This was the third raid carried out by the Public Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday. In the morning they were in the Legislative Assembly and took documents and computers from the offices of Guevara and from legislator Víctor Morales Zapata.

Then she was present at the Ministry of Finance to perform the same procedure, in the office of Deputy Minister Fernando Rodríguez.

The homes and vehicles of these legislators are now part of the evidence in the cementazo case.
