Santo Domingo municipality wants to transfer Inbioparque facilities

January 9, 2017 by Staff News Writer

President of the City Council of Santo Domingo Tomás Azofeifa Villalobos announced there is an agreement that aims to transfer Inbioparque facilities to become the first multi-institutional center of the province of Heredia.

He guarantees that he counts on the support of political parties and, according to him, representatives from those parties are worried about the deterioration and abandonment of the valuable facilities.

The project wants the Legislature to authorize the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MINAE) to make the transfer, so that such land and facilities, under the leadership of the Municipality, can become a multipurpose room that will serve as a model for other provinces.
