On Saturday, about 25 bus passengers that travelled through downtown Alajuela had the worse scare of their lives when a snake left the trunk of the transport vehicle. The incident took place in the neighborhood of Corazón de Jesús, at 1:15 in the afternoon.

Vanessa Montoya witnessed the event. While walking through the Guatemala School, she suddenly saw a three-and-a-half-meter snake.

A boy who got off the bus, warned the driver who got off to check what happened. Then, he told the passengers to get off. In the end, a young man who was passing by took the snake away.

He said he was going to take it as a trophy,”

told Montoya to CRHoy.com.
