Solís will keep touring the country in his last month of management

April 5, 2018 by Staff News Writer

With just one more month in the Presidential House, President Luis Guillermo Solís will continue touring the national territory until the last day of his administration.

Throughout this year, the president has made trips within the country almost every week, which he will continue to do by visiting Heredia, where he will deliver several Ebais and also participate in the inauguration of the Convention Center.

He will also be present at the SME Expo on the weekend at the National Stadium.

This government will continue to work with great intensity until May 8th,”

said Minister of Communication, Mauricio Herrera.

In addition to Heredia, Solís will be touring Alajuela next week, where he will also participate in the celebration of the anniversary of the Battle of Rivas on April 11th. Sarapiquí, the South Zone, Puntarenas and then several communities of the great Metropolitan Area will also receive the president in the coming weeks.

There are a large number of projects underway, others that are being finalized, and that a president’s presence and an inspection of many of them is required,”

explained Herrera.

In addition, the president would be making his last trip abroad this month. It will be on April 13th and 14th at the Summit of the Americas in Peru, where he intended to be accompanied by the president-elect, Carlos Alvarado; however, the latter had to decline the invitation.
