The CNFL is not requesting users’ personal information

October 14, 2016 by Staff News Writer

National Power and Light Company (CNFL) warned users about a possible method used by criminals to get confidential information to commit fraud.

Apparently, subjects call and ask for bank information on behalf of the Company, which could jeopardize their funds.

After several complaints, the CNFL declared through social networks that the institution is not requesting this information. In addition, it is not synchronizing accounts with state financial institutions.

Therefore, authorities ask people not to provide this or other sensitive information and report the incident to the competent authorities,

stated the CNFL Directorate of Marketing.
