The national flag at half mast

The Government declared three days of national mourning for the victims of the bus accident in Cinchona, which claimed the lives of 12 people and has more than a dozen in medical centers.

Public institutions immediately hoisted the national flag at half-mast. In addition, all festive activities on Thursday, Friday and Saturday were suspended.

Luis Guillermo Solís shared his message of solidarity to the victims of the tragedy through his Facebook page.

For families who lost people to this accident and for those who are injured, our condolences, our solidarity and affection,”

said the Costa Rican president.
