The Public Force detained a man with 120 packages of cocaine

The Public Force detained a man with 120 packages of cocaine hidden in a truck in Alajuela.

According to the entity, the incident occurred in La Bomba service station in Alajuela. Apparently, the officers were conducting a road control when they discovered that the truck had double lining and that was suspicious.

As consequence, the Drug Control Police (PCD) came to the scene and confirmed that there were 120 packets of cocaine and cash in the truck. The truck driver, a man surnamed Matarrita, was detained.

Minister of Security Gustavo Mata highlighted the seizure on his Twitter account and he said that the country is directly fighting drug trafficking.
