The Social-Christian Youth Front is making some requests

March 14, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The Social-Christian Youth Front is requesting “real spaces” for participation within the ranks of the Christian Social Unity Party (PUSC). That’s why they asked the members of the National Executive Committee to include within the agenda of the next National Assembly a series of topics they need to discuss and reform to achieve effectiveness.

The agenda requests imply that the three representatives elected by canton can be part of the cantonal assembly so that they can vote and have an opinion on this scenary, and a more real impact in the municipal-election processes.

In addition, the PUSC Youth Front intends that those leaders who are elected as President and Secretary of the National Front may have a space within the National Executive Committee so that they can be part of the decision-making related to the formal structure of the party.

The party is also asking Social-Christian authorities to include the issue of the creation of the Animal Welfare National Front. As indicated, the Executive Committee had already approved it, nevertheless, it is necessary that the National Assembly passes it so that it can be carried out.
