The Teleton achieved its goal once again. Although this year the collection was slow, the last check in Sunday morning generated happiness.

The 690 million colones goal was met: On November 4th, at 1:30 am., the board showed 708,104,541 colones. In addition, the National Bank donated 500 million colones to finally raise 1,208,104,541 colones.

However, as the hours passed by, organizers were concerned due to the slow arrival of donations. Therefore, they made the decision to extend the process until 3 am; Nevertheless, an hour and a half before, they reached the finish line.

50% of the collected money will go to those affected by Hurricane Otto. The other half will go to the National Children’s Hospital, the Carit Maternity Hospital and Quepos Hospital.

The 32nd edition of Teleton counted on the participation of 8 international and 14 national artists. In addition, Mexican Adal Ramones was part of the staff of hosts.
