There are 56 Ebais without the Edus

According to a decree, time is running out for the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) to have the Digital, Unique, Health Record (EDUS) in all Ebais and clinics around the country.

Manuel Rodríguez, director of Edus Project, informed that there are still missing 56 Ebais to implement the Edus.

María del Rocío Sáenz, president of the CCSS, explained that there are 20 medical centers that already have this systems:

-San Vicente de Paúl Hospital (Heredia)
-San vito Hospital
-Carlos Luis Valverde Hospital (San Ramón)
-San Francisco de Asís Hospital (Grecia)
-Escalante Pradilla Hospital (Pérez Zeledón)
-Los Chiles Hospital
-San Carlos Hospital
-San Rafael Hospital (Alajuela)
-Monseñor Sanabria Hospital (Puntarenas)
-Max Terán Valls Hospital (Quepos)
-Enrique Baltodano Hospital (Liberia)
-Upala Hospital
-Ciudad Neily Hospital
-Tomás Casas Hospital (Cortés)
-Manuel Mora Valverde Hospital (Golfito)
-Guápiles Hospital
-Adolfo Carit (Women’s Hospital)
-William Allen Hospital (Turrialba)
-La Anexión Hospital (Nicoya)
-Blanco Cervantes (geriatric hospital)

The biggest hospitals such as Calderón Guardia, San Juan de Dios and México are supposed to be the last ones to get the new system.
