There was a fire in a prison

March 31, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The Fire Department reported that 3 prisoners were transferred to San Juan de Dios Hospital in critical condition.

The first one had airway burns, the second had burns on 25% of his body and a third had burns on 75% of his body.

According to the Fire Department that attended the emergency, 4 units were in charge of putting out the fire, which affected 5 square meters.

The Ministry of Justice reported that there was a riot with mattress burning in the B2 area of the penitentiary, where there were 35 people.
