two children and a man were seriously injured in a gunfire in Pococí

December 12, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Two children aged 7 and 11 years old were seriously wounded when a gunfire took place on December 11th in Pococí. In the shooting, one person died and a 25-year-old man was injured.

It was apparently a settling of accounts and the victims were in a vehicle. Two men on a motorcycle would be responsible for the crime.

The 35-year-old man who died at the scene had a criminal record, as stated by Carlos Hidalgo, a press spokesman at the Ministry of Security.

The children were taken to Guapiles hospital and their condition is unknown.
