Crate & Barrel will invest 4 million dollars to open a store in Costa Rica

With an investment of $ 4 million, the international brand Crate & Barrel, dedicated to furniture, decoration and household items, announced that they will open its doors in Costa Rica during the first half of 2017.

Monica Fonseca, manager of the company in the country, said that the operations of the franchise in Central America is going to start with the first store in Costa Rica, which will have an area of 2,200 square meters and will be located in Avenida Escazú shopping mall, located in San José.

Approximately 40 people will be employed. The company that acquired the authorization to operate the franchise in the country is CBCR Investments, S.A.

Crate & Barrel offer home furnishings, kitchen items, dining and entertainment, decoration, lighting, bedroom, bathroom and outdoor items.

The US Company has more than 50 years of experience in the market, since it opened its first store in 1962 in the city of Chicago. Today they have more than 80 stores in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Peru and Colombia.
