Ottón Solís: “If you want to take me to the courts, do it, but this is corruption!”

February 28, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Legislator Ottón Solís did not remain silent and replied to Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs Carmen Muñoz: she challenged Solís and Epsy Campbell to prove that she is “a corrupt person” and asks them to denounce her as “God commands”.

Solís insists that the incentives that Muñoz received during the first year of government are undeserved and they are a “corruption case.”

If you want to take me to the courts, do it, but this is corruption. You are so faceless and you dare to deny it! If it bothers you so much, take me to the Court. There is a Commission report and we are more. Do as you please!

declared Ottón Solís.

He strongly criticized the hierarch because, according to him, nobody can claim ignorance of the Law, much less in her case, because at the time when she served as a legislator, she was in the legislative commission that worked against corruption and illicit enrichment.

In this regard, Epsy Campbell explained that it is not her style to carry out this type of demonstrations, and she even claimed that Muñoz must prove at what time she stated that she was a corrupt person.
