Road closures for demarcation of Montecillos, Alajuela

October 11, 2016 by Staff News Writer

On October 11th, Traffic Engineering will paint demarcation lines in Montecillos, Alajuela between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., which will translate into a forced road closure of 30 minutes.

The work will focus on demarcating the yellow center line and closures are necessary due to the conditions of vehicular volume of the area and the width of the road.

According to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT) works will be performed in order to improve the road conditions and safety in the area.

The ministry asks for the users’ understanding, caution in circulation and respect for traffic control devices and outstanding workers in the area. Furthermore, it’s recommended to take alternate routes and avoid driving the sector in these hours,”

informed the entity.

Practical tests to get the driver’s license are to be conducted normally on Tuesday.
