Alleged smuggler and 3 illegal inmigrants were arrested

October 13, 2016 by Staff News Writer

On October 12th, Border Police officers arrested a smuggler and several undocumented people.

The first case took place in Los Chiles in Alajuela, where police officers realized that several people were passing through a non-enabled place. When the officers intercepted them, in a sector known as cevichito, they found out that they were Nicaraguan citizens.

There the Border Police arrested a 20-year-old man named González.

Authorities also informed about the arrest of three undocumented immigrants in a border area of San Carlos. All of them were found while entering the country through an unauthorized point.
