CNE invests ₡ 200 million to rehabilitate routes in affected areas

Hurricane Otto has already begun to cause problems on several roads in the country. The National Emergency Commission reported closed routes in the cantons of Corredores, Buenos Aires, Pérez Zeledón, Coto Brus, Golfito and Osa.

We are waiting for the waters to be lower so that the authorities of the affected municipalities in the South Zone of the country make the investment requests in the category of first impacts, with the purpose of rehabilitating roads and directing the rivers and streams that are have been affected by this storm,”

reported the Commission.

The institution has invested ₡ 200 million in the rehabilitation of roads and riverbeds.
