Demonstration week!

January 19, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Residents of Poás and Grecia, student transport drivers and taxi drivers are planning to demonstrate this week.

-Student transport drivers demonstrated on January 18th. They went to the Public Transportation Council. They don’t agree with CTP new measures on the field.

-Citizens from Poás and Grecia met CONAVI authorities on January 18th. They demonstrate due to the unfinished repairing works on the road that communicates both cantons: they fell into neglect.

-Taxi drivers will protest due to the Constitutional Court’s lack of actions regarding Uber. They’ve made a vigil and now they are threatening through social networks to go on national strike. They haven’t provided a date and they are even talking of a “surprise strike”.
