Alerts are maintained in Abangares, Upala and Bagaces, where flooded rivers are reported. However, the authorities indicated that the affected territories are gradually returning to normal.

The state of alert is maintained, the weather conditions cause some overflowed rivers in Parrita and Quepos, due to constant rainfall. The emergency committees have followed this up very closely. Otherwise the country remains in normal conditions,”

said Wálter Fonseca, a spokesman for the National Emergency Commission.
