Heavy rains affected several sectors of Cartago

On Monday, heavy rainfall caused damage to several areas in the province of Cartago.

The most affected sectors are located in Cachí, where the National Emergency Commission (CNE) reports the attention of 35 incidents.

The rivers Orosi and Navarro are flooded, so we set up a shelter. In Cachí, the CNE in Paraíso is assessing the situation,”

said the entity.

They also reported that there was overflow of sewers, rivers and streams and there are two landslides in the area.
