Heavy rains greatly affected several provinces

Several provinces were greatly affected by Thursday night rains. Floods affected a clinic, residential houses and even a person died.

According to Dennis Salazar, from the Fire Department, heavy rainfalls flooded Solón Nuñéz Clinic. In addition, 21 houses were greatly affected in Cartago. As consequence, all people were evacuated and transferred to the community hall.

In Tucurrique, Turrialba, 2 people had to be rescued after a fallen tree trapped them in their homes.

In addition, flooding were reported in Pavas and Tres Ríos, where sewers collapsed.

To conclude, the person who died in Las Juntas de Abangares, apparently tried to cross a swollen river, but he failed.
