Poás and Turrialba together in a wonderful photo!

April 21, 2017 by Staff News Writer

One of the most impressive photographs of the volcanic reality that lives in Costa Rica was taken this Thursday by Laura Barboza Rodríguez.

Her lens captured the emanation of gases from the Poás and Turrialba Volcanos in a single image. Without a doubt, it makes you speechless. And in the middle was the Barva Volcano.

Both giants have been very active in recent days.

According to Barboza, this Thursday she left at 6:30 a.m. bound for the United States. In the takeoff and exit of the national territory she managed to capture the image.

Although in Costa Rica there are five active volcanoes, Turrialba and Poás are the ones that have grabbed the most attention.

It should be noted that the Poás had a reactivation of its eruptive cycle last April 1st. The eruption of last April 15th has been the most important in the last 64 years.
