U.S. citzien mauled by bull is stable and has received visits from wife

27 year old U.S. citizen Derek Pepther, is in stable condition at Calderon Guardia Hospital after being gored by a bull at the festival in Zapote. Pepther remains hospitalized with injuries to his abdomen and neck. He has been in Costa Rica for two years, and works as a missionary and teacher.
