Three people arrested for decapitating a crocodile

Two men and one woman were arrested after being intercepted while transporting a decapitated crocodile and a rifle across the Matina sector in Limón.

According to the police report, this incident occurred in a community known as Larga Distancia of the Carrandí district, where the vehicle used to travel by two men named Mejías and Fletes as well as a woman named Mendoza, was checked by the police.

Upon revision, they found a beheaded five-foot long crocodile. Officers also located a rifle inside the vehicle and the suspects did not carry the permits for that weapon.
