Drivers are not planning to demonstrate

February 2, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Student transports refuse to accept the reforms planned by the Public Transport Council (CTP), but they informed that, at least in the short term, they will not demonstrate.

They will do everything they can to reach an agreement.

Drivers will hold meetings with some legislators and other authorities to express their dissatisfaction with the measures that the CTP intends to implement. Among them, it emphasizes the obligation to paint buses yellow and to establish unique plates for transport of students and workers.

The union delivered a letter to president of the Republic Luis Guillermo Solís and Director of the CTP Mario Zárate to show their discomfort at the changes.
