Solís is not worried about the recording

August 12, 2016 by Staff News Writer

President Luis Guillermo Solís, repeatedly downplayed the audio of an impressionist who warned about the possibility of violence during taxi drivers’ strike.

The recording was sent via social networks with a voice similar to the president’s. It indicated that a group of taxi drivers could carry out violent demonstrations, to the point that the use of tear gas would be necessary.

Solis said that there are more important issues to solve and he is sure that there will be experts from the
Directorate of Intelligence and Security (DIS) that can investigate where the recording came from.

He added that he would not continue talking about a topic that was denied by the Presidency of the Republic.
