Solís: “you can visit Poás volcano!”

April 24, 2017 by Staff News Writer

President Luis Guillermo Solís visited Poás volcano to encourage tourists to go to this tourist destination.

Solis talked to traders in the area and asked them about the inconveniences they have had since the volcano started to erupt.

We want to see more people supporting trade, as these people work very hard and the visits has dropped a lot. We’ve just visited a small town and they have had to close for a week,

said the president.

The President offered to talk with the Banking System for Development and INAMU programs to help them.

I came with the mayor of Poas and my family to proof that anyone can come… we are going to have lunch in the area and drink coffee,

he said.

In the afternoon, he went to a dairy and he also bought strawberries.
